is open for you.
In winter, its warm inside, while
cool and frosty outside, with the
occasional excitement of snowfalls
just 15 minutes from Adelaide!
In summer, its either inside or
alfresco on the plaza beneath the
large mounted umbrellas, adjacent
to the towering white obelisque,
with panoramic views over Adelaide
to the sea.
In spring and autumn at sunset,
we are visited by the bandicoots
on the plaza, the occasional kangaroo,
and koalas in the surrounding trees.

The café at the Mt Lofty
Summit is a favourite destination
for walkers who enjoy the discovery
trails around the Summit, or the
more energetic who walk from Waterfall
Gully for hot coffee, freshly baked
pastries and long extended breakfasts.
It's also popular with visitors
who bring their interstate and overseas
guests for a light lunch, or for
those quick casual business lunches
and social groups who come for morning
and afternoon teas atop Mt Lofty.
Why not combine the fresh pristine
mountain air with some warm food
in winter or escape the Adelaide
heat in summer , soak up the views
over Adelaide and enjoy the glorious
sunsets on those wonderful balmy
evenings on the plaza.
The café is open Mondays
and Tuesdays from 9am to 5pm for
breakfast, morning tea, lunch and
afternoon tea, and Wednesdays to
Sundays from 9am to late for breakfast,
morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea,
cocktails and dinner.
Evening bookings are recommended. |
